Isabella Franziska was my great-grandmother. She was born in Edinburgh, Scotland. Came to this country with her father Peter Kaulfuss, her mother Isabella Harvey Kaulfuss, her brothers Peter and Archibald in 1876. Other siblings included; Alexander, Herbert and Jane. Who were born in the United States. Isabella married Robert Joseph Balestier in Saratoga, New York October 12th, 1889. They had 5 children; Verda, Ruth, Beatrice, Henry and Isabella. Isabella Franziska died of Tuberculosis in June 1914
