Suffered Fractured Hip 3 Weeks Ago
Mrs. Ella English, 86, a former well known New Philadelphia resident and widow of James W. English died last night at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Robert Reed, Jr., Wheeling. A brother, Albert Bates, died here just a few weeks ago.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Harry Westfall, Bethlehem, N.H.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. R. M. Freshwater and Miss Alice Bates, both of this city.
Funeral services will be held at the home of Miss Alice Bates and Mrs. R. M. Freshwater, West High avenue, at 4 p.m. Sunday with Rev. J. H. Palmer officiating. Burial in the Fair street cemetery will be in charge of the Linn Hert Co.
