Miss Toni Marie Patterson, age 22, of Zip City, died Saturday, May 29, 2004, at ECM Hospital, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.She was a native of Rock Springs, Wyo., born on April 19, 1982, and had lived most of her life in Lauderdale County. Toni was a graduate of Wilson High School and Northwest-Shoals Community College and was vice president of VICA. She was voted Most Outstanding Female Student at Allen Thornton Career Tech and Miss Allen Thornton 2000. Toni earned her teaching degree in cosmetology from Athens State and was employed by JC Penney Salon and Florence City Schools, special education aide.Visitation will be today, May 31, 2004, from 6-9 p.m., at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Tuesday, June 1, 2004, at 2 p.m., from the Light House of Jesus Christ, St. Florian, with burial to follow in the Lone Cedar Church of Christ Cemetery. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Jeff Street. Miss Patterson's body will be placed in the church one hour prior to service time.Miss Patterson is survived by her parents, Glen and Rhonda Patterson; brother, Joshua Glen Patterson; special grandmother, Betty Clemmons, whom she loved dearly; grandparents, Otis and Nell Patterson; several aunts, uncles, cousins and the love of her life, Jason Singleton and family.Pallbearers will be members of the Killen Fire and Rescue Department, Trent Putman, Randy Brown, Morris Barnes, Bryan Hale, Willie Robertson and John Troup.Toni loved all children and had a loving, tender and giving heart. She will be dearly missed by all the lives she touched.Greenview Funeral Home of Florence is directing.
