She was born Jan. 13, 1918 in Cookeville, TN, the daughter of Flander and Mary Allen Hawkins. Mrs. Taylor was a housewife, and she was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her sons, Tom Taylor of Signal Mountain, TN, and Paul Taylor of Dunlap; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Othel Balabas of Crossville; and brother, William Hawkins of Cookeville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Taylor; and son, Eugene Taylor.
Pallbearers were Clyde Taylor, Prentis Taylor, Homer Taylor, Chris Taylor, Tommy Taylor and Paul Lee Taylor.
