Professional Hockey Player, Pioneer, Businessman. Born in Fleming Saskatchewan, he served as the President of the National Hockey League (NHL) from 1946 to 1977. He also played hockey for Oxford University from 1927 to 1929. Campbell was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame as a Builder in 1966, and was awarded the Lester Patrick Trophy.
