Hilda,76,of George St.Pen Argyl,died Sunday in her home.She was the wife of the late Garfield Oliver who died in 1962. She was a sewing machine operator for Aurora Capozzoia Sportswear Co.Pen Argyl,before retiring in 1990.She was a daughter of the late Raymond and Hattie (Steigerwalt) Hontz.She was a member of Faith United Presbyterian Church,Pen Argyl,and an elder there 1980-83.She also was the church financial secretary,1973-93,teacher of the adult Sunday School class,1968-93,a member of the Presbyterian Women Association and conductor of the Bible study for many years.Survivors:Son,Robert H,daughters,Jean Hill,Jeanette J,and Joyce A Abruzzese;brother Burdell;sister,Marion Jenkins;12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by a son Richard G.
