Agnes K., "Grandma Aggie," Mathewson, 79, Lincoln, died Wednesday (2/8/06). Born Manitowoc, Wis., (5/16/26) to Henry J. and Agnes R. (Leddy) Dietzler. She worked at Elgin Watch Co., Edholm & Blomgren Photography, American Legion Club and Bethany Pantry. Member, St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Volunteer, St. Elizabeth's Hospital Gift Shop. She was named "Vacation Girl" in 1954 for Elgin Watch Co. Married to Robert "Bubba" Mathewson, Jan. 12, 1946.

Family members include: daughter, son-in-law, Sandy and Neil Bickley, Lincoln; two grandsons, spouses, Mathew and Sherri Bickley, Olathe, Kan., Michael and Brianna Bickley, Salt Lake City, Utah. Preceded in death by husband, Robert W.; parents; brother, Harold; lifelong friend, Rita Scott.

Her friends and family will all miss Grandma Aggie's generous spirit, unfailing strength and great sense of humor. She was an avid lover of animals, especially her dogs.

Funeral Mass: 10:30 a.m. today, St. Joseph's Catholic Church,1940 S. 77th St. Father Sean Kilcawley. Vistation and rosary were held Friday. Roper & Sons Funeral Services 4300 O St. Memorials to American Cancer Society, 5733 S. 34th, Suite 500, Lincoln, 68516; or Capital Humane Society, 2320 Park Blvd., Lincoln 68502.
