Mary "Sis" Ahern, 97, of Oswego, died Monday at St. Luke's Nursing Home. She was born in Syracuse and lived most of her adult life in Oswego. Sis graduated from St. Lucy's High School and Crouse Hospital School of Nursing. Her husband, Dr. Charles M. Ahern, died in 1991. She is survived by her son, Charles Ahern and his wife, Linda of San Lius Opisbo, CA; her daughter, Denise Ahern and her husband, Paul Forberg of London, KY; two granddaughters, Mary Beth St. Armand and Lee Ann Ahern; one brother, Edward J. Ryan of Syracuse. Services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, Oswego. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Oswego. A calling hour will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church, 240 West 1st St. Oswego. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of ones choice
