Geraldine Thomas Swafford, age 76, passed away on Monday, August 13, 2012 at Unihealth-Lanier, following an extended illness.
Mrs. Swafford was born October 5, 1935 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Mr. & Mrs. Allen Thomas. She was a homemaker and a member of Gainesville Congregational Holiness Church. Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Robin Terthrow and several brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Swafford is survived by her husband of 60 years, Richard Swafford of Gainesville, son & daughter-in-law, Richard R. & Carol Swafford of Hayesville, North Carolina, grandchildren, Chris Thomas, Daniel Swafford, Jessie Swafford and Charlie Swafford and brother, Clarence Thomas of Murrayville.
