Patricia Anne Heggemann, 85, of Lakeland, passed away August 19, 2012.
Patricia graduated from Bethesda Chevy Chase High School in Maryland and the Washington School for Secretaries in Washington, DC. Patricia also volunteered with the USO.
While living in Maryland, she worked at the Walter Reed Army Hospital, the National Institute of Health and for her father at the Accurate Tax Records Company.
She was a household executive, an avid Bridge player, and she loved the needle arts. Patricia was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She leaves behind her husband of 65 years, Rahe Heggemann; daughter Laura (Stuart) Johns of Lakeland; son, Steven (Rebecca) Heggemann of Elkridge, MD; grandchildren, Andrew (Elysee) Johns, Keri Johns; niece, Diane (Tom) Frederick; great-niece Erin Frederick and great- nephew, Matthew Frederick.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 25 from 3-4 p.m., with a memorial service at 4 p.m., all at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens on Germantown Road.
