John Ed Krueger,75, Green Bay passed away on Monday, August 20, 2012 at St. Vincent Hospital. John was born on July 15, 1937. John grew up on a farm in Reedsville with his parents Milan and Sally Krueger. He graduated from Reedsville High School with the class of 1956. He served his country in the west Pacific for four years. He worked as a Mill Wright for many years. John married Nancy Schmidt on October 27, 1962 in Manitowoc. They had two children Kirk and Kory. He served his internship at Herslof Optical of Milwaukee and was certified by the State and American Board of Opticians. He worked for Dr. Oliver Hitch for 30 years. John was active in his community, serving on the board of Directors of the Manitowoc Jaycees, Green Bay Jaycees, Red Cross and Lions Club. He served as Financial Secretary of Faith Lutheran Church. John enjoyed hunting & fishing with his son's & friends.
John is survived by his wife, Nancy and his son Kory, his mother Sally Krueger, 2 brothers Greg Krueger, Noel Krueger and Karen, 3 sisters-in-law and 1 brother-in-law Dorothy Jurgens, Susan Gadzinski, Marion (Gene) Prange. He is further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son Kirk, his father Milan, 2 brothers Joel and Karl, his mother-in-law and father-in-law Katie and John Schmidt, 2 sisters-n-law, 3 brothers-in-law.
