Edward Prytherch, son of Mr. and Mrs. William C. Prytherch of this city, has enlisted In the Aviation Corps of the United States Army with the expectation of becoming an officer. He is awaiting orders to report to his headquarters, after which he will take a course of study before going to the front.

Utica Girl Becomes Bride of New York Bond Salesman
Miss Frances A. Foster of 1218 Taylor Avenue, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Foster, became the bride of Edward C. Richardson of New York City, formerly of Utica, in a ceremony performed at the Memorial Church of the Holy Cross at 10 o'clock this morning. The Rev. James L. Hurd, rector of the church officiated.
The attending couple were Miss Marion Prytherch, sister of the groom and Fred Cole. Following an informal reception at the home of the bride, the couple left immediately for Saratoga Springs and New York City. They will take up their residence in the metropolis and will be at home to their friends after September 1. The groom is a bond salesman. He is the son of W.C. Prytherch.

BROTHER OF FORMER LOCAL Y. M. C. A. SECRETARY KILLED
Edward Prytherch Richardson, 30, brother of Miss Marion K. Prytherch, former secretary at the Y.M.C.A., was killed in an automobile accident at Carlisle, N.Y., on the Cherry Valley Turnpike, this week. It was learned here today. One other man was killed and another was injured in the same accident. The accident resulted when Richardson, at the wheel of the car, turned out to avoid striking a truck. The car turned over in a ditch. Richardson died a half an hour after the accident. The other man was killed instantly.
