Deceased Name: Hobert B. Hill
80, of Covington, died Saturday at Northern Kentucky Care and Rehabilitation, Highland Heights.
He was a carpenter retired from Messer Construction Co., a member of Decoursey Baptist Church, Covington, Demossville Masonic Lodge No. 220, and Scottish Rite Valley of Covington. His first wife, Kathryn Simpson Hill, died in 1984, a son, Hobert Glenn Hill, died in 1995, and a daughter, Bobbie Jean Mann, died in 2002.
Survivors include his wife, Lou Hammons Hill; sons, Jim Hill of Covington, Jimmy Wells of Falmouth and David Wells of Cincinnati; daughters, Kathy Ann Giglia of Taylor Mill and Darlene Simpson and Mary Lou Johnson, both of Falmouth; a brother, J.C. Hill of Falmouth; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.
Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Northern Kentucky, 1403 Alexandria Pike, Fort Thomas, Ky. 41075.
