She was born in Cleveland, Ohio the daughter of George and Minnie Wilson on March 13, 1921.
After raising her family, Louise went back to school and worked as a nurse in Fremont.
Her greatest joy was tending to others needs and the happiness she received from small children. Mother continued to transport her elderly friends until the "boys" took her car away at 84 years old.
She is survived by her children Marie Douglass of Ft. Meade, FL, Karl Simon of Wickenburg, AZ, Craig Young of Mechanicsburg, PA, Michael Simon of Rochester Hills, Donald Simon of Traverse City, William Simon of Grant, Kenneth Simon, Kendall Lumbert of Longview, TX, Rebecca Lumbert of Fremont, many grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by mother Minnie Steele, her Aunt Cody Stevens, her sons Robert Simon, Douglas Simon and Charles Simon.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 15, 2011 with Steve Potter officiating.
Interment in Bridgeton Cemetery.
