Elmer L. Ness, 67, of Dallastown RD 2, died Wednesday at York Hospital. He was the husband of Romane Rittenhouse Ness. Mr. Ness, born in York Township, was the son of the late Robert and Laura Brenneman Ness. He was an electrical worker and retired in 1976 from Fincor International, York. He was employed previously by C. B. "Red" Klinedinst for 18 years. He was a member of the Benevolent Protective Order of Elks Red Lion Lodge and American Association of Retired Persons. Survivors include: A daughter - Mary Am Saylor, Felton RD1,. Two grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. Two sisters - Florence Lu and Carrie Straw, both of York. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Home INc., 145 E. Broadway, Red Lion, with Joseph W. Seltz, pastor of Grace Lutheran Church, Red Lion, officiating.
