Former Emporian's Condition Critical
The condition of Mrs. Leo Craig, of Abilene, former Emporia woman, who was injured near Salina Sunday in an automobile accident in which her husband was killed, was reported to be critical today. Mrs. Craig is in a Salina hospital with a broken left wrist, a broken left leg and with head and jaw injuries.
Mrs. I. E. Benson also is in a Salina hospital with severe injuries. Mr. Benson, who was driving the car, also was injured, but his release from the hospital was expected today. Reports from Salina indicate that four cars carrying 13 persons were involved in the accident. All received injuries.

CRAIG FUNERAL WEDNESDAY.
Funeral services for Leo H. Craig, who was fatally injured in a motor-car accident near Salina Sunday morning, will be held Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the First Christian Church. Rev. Claude G. Large, pastor of the church, will conduct services. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn cemetery.
Mr. Craig was born June 7, 1893, near Admire. He had lived in or near Emporia nearly all his life. He began work for the Santa Fe on January 1, 1916, and had moved to Abilene about five years ago to work a local between Abilene and Barnard. He was married to Ruby Horn on April 17, 1930, in Wichita. Mrs. Craig, injured in the accident survives. Mr. Craig was a member of 1st Co. E., 353 Infantry, 89th Division, United States Army, from March 30, 1918, to June 1, 1919. He belonged to the A. F. and A. M. lodge at Council Grove and to the Emporia chapter of Masons.
Surviving Mr. Craig are his wife, one brother, M. P. Craig, of Abilene, and two sisters, Mrs. J. D. Jones of Emporia, and Mrs. H. H. Carpenter, of Kansas City, Kan.
The casket will be open at the Sutton-Kinzer funeral home this evening and Wednesday until 3 o'clock in the afternoon. It will not be open at the services.
