Services at Norfolk Thursday for Rev. E. H. Boelling, 93

Services for Rev. Emil H. Boelling, 93, of Norfolk, will be held
at 10:30 Thursday morning, Oct. 11, from Christ Lutheran
Church in Norfolk with Pastor John C. Bass, officiating.
Rev. Boelling died Monday, Oct. 8, in a Norfolk hospital.
Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Norfolk.

Emil Boelling, son of Frederick and Julia Boelling, was born
December 21, 1890, at Vincennes, Ind. On June 14, 1916, he
was married to Ann Geisert at Ogallala.

Rev. Boelling was pastor of Immanuel Lutheran Church at
Rising City and Redeemer Lutheran Church in David City
from 1955 to 1965, when he retired and moved to Norfolk.

Survivors include four daughters, Eleanor Witt of Winthrop,
Minn., Lois Ahlman of Norfolk, Kathryn Hintz of North
Highland, Calif., and Karen Fox of Fremont; 14 grandchildren,
and 34 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his
wife in 1965.
