William Carrier Bouton

William 'Carrier' Bouton was so named to also carry on his grandmother's maiden name, Martha Patsy Carrier, as well.

William married three times:

Children of his first marriage to Laura Harless Bouton:

Hattie, Pauline, Hazel, Jeff, Roy, and Edward. Laura died during childbirth. The baby died a few hours later and was buried with her.

William then married Sally Hall Bouton. There were no children of this marriage.

After Sally died, William married Ethel Hoskins Bouton. There were 6 children of this marriage:

Eureka Cleo (Susie), Mary Ruth(Booter), Willie May (Billie), Charlie, Jim, and Harry Allen.

Note: Ethel Hoskins Bouton was the sister of Laura Hoskins Bouton, who married William's son, Jeff from his first marriage.
