My 3rd great-Grandfather. Both John and wife Mary were Irish natives, of county Fermanagh, and probably married in the village of Fivemiletown (county Tyrone, Northern Ireland - very close to the border of county Fermanagh); Their daughter, Mary Alice Noble-Gilder, is my 2nd great-Grandmother (buried in Albion, Washington - her husband Richard Gilder is buried here, in the Donaldson cemetery).

A loving friend a husband
A ??? parent lieth here:
Great is the loss ?? sustain.
But hope in heaven to meet again
Farewell my wife and children all
From you a father Christ doth call
Mourn not for me it is in vein
to call me to your arms again
