Cooperstown - Mrs. Eloise Pope, 67, died May 17, 1951 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Rufus Rhyde, Twelve Thousend, after a long illness.
She was born in Fly Creek Valley Apr. 3. 1884, the daughter of Rufus and Anna Rice Jarvis. She was married to Schuyler Pope in Fly Creek Oct. 10, 1906. .....
She leaves, besides her husband. three daughters, Mrs. Rufus Rhyde, Mrs. Harold Vibbard, Edmeston, and Mrs. Antone Hribar, Twelve Thousand, two sons, Jarvis, Fly Creek Valley, and Robert Pope. Fonda, 15 grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Owen Fitts, Cooperstown and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral .... Burial will be in the Fly Creek Cemetery.
