Sonja Ruth Hunt went home to be with Jesus on August 17, 2012. She was born on January 19, 1939, in OKC. She was blessed with a son, Robert James Niederschuh. She was married for 16 years to Leslie C. Hunt, who went home in 1994. Sonja is survived by her son, Robert and his wife Brandi, and their two sons, Noah and Malachi. She is also survived by her brother, Robert Meier and his wife Arlene. Sonja was a great author of Christian poetry, but most of all, she LOVED being with her family and watching her grandsons play basketball, baseball and football. They were her greatest treasure. She lived for her boys. Her devotion and love for her family and friends will be greatly missed. A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 21, 2012, in the chapel of Resurrection Cemetery.
