Services for Mrs. Don McLeod were held at the Methodist Church with Rev. Uel D. Crosby, pastor, officiating.

Mrs. McLeod had been in Balmorhea on a visit wit her son and his wife, for two months. She returned to Chevy Chase, Maryland where she had been making her home with her daughter, Mrs. Carl H. Robinson.

Mrs. Martha McLeod moved to Texas with her family in 1874 settling at Palo Pinto County. She moved to Seymour in 1883 from Palo Pinto County, Texas.

Miss Martha Carter married Don McLeod in 1891 and the continued making their home in Seymour until 1917 when they moved to Oklahoma. After her husband's death, she moved to Maryland to make her home with her daughter.

Mrs. McLeod had been a member of the Methodist Church since she was a young girl and had been a faithful and active worker. She was active in Red Cross work.

Survived by one daughter - Mrs. Carl H. Robinson; one son - John McLeod; two granddaughters - Nancy Carl and Donna Bell Robinson; three brothers - Henry, Errol and Emner Carter; two nieces - Mrs. Leo Marcell and Mrs. Pleasie King.

Other attending the services include - Mrs. S.S. Lawrence, Mrs. H.B. White; one nephew - Tom B. Carter, who is with the FBI.
