Ida was daughter of Andrew Jackson and Anna Maria Jordon Jacobs. They were blessed with 8 children. Ida's mother died of a "broken heart" after her oldest son was killed by a falling tree. Ida was just a few days from her 7th birthday when her mother died. Ida married George Grant Dunn on 30 Jan 1884. Grant and Ida had 4 children - Harvey A(1886-1891, Ralph Andrew(1890-1950), Belvia Marie(1896-1970, and Lucille(1900-1900).
