He was employed by Bethlehem Steel Company as an estimator for 34 years before retiring in 1982.∼Carl G. Doll, 77, of Leithsville Rd, Hellertown, died Friday, Aug. 10, in St. Luke;s Hospital.
He was an estimator at Bethlehem Steel Corp for 34 yrs, retiring in 1982.
Born Aug. 20, 1923, in East Strougsburg, he was a son of the late Moses E. & Verna Hillard Doll.
He served in the Army Air Corps during WW II.
He & his wife, the former Mary Bertrand, observed their 52nd wedding anniversary in April.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 sons, Raymond & David, a daughter Judith Worrall, 6 grandchildren, and a great granddaughter.
Services will be held at 10am Wednesday in the Falk Funeral Home, Hellertown. Graveside services at 11:30am Wednesday in Laurelwood Cemetery, Stroudsburg.
