Our beloved mother, wife, grandmother, sister, and friend, Trudy Lea Jacobs Rushton passed away October 6, 2004 peacefully in the company of her loved ones after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born June 26, 1952 in Tooele, Utah to Florence Murray Jacobs and Don Jacobs. Married Robert D. Rushton April 26, 1980 and together raised five children, Jaimee K., Robert W., Janette K. (Donoven), Janeal K. (JJ), and Ryan M. (Erica).

Nana was a beautiful, strong and brave woman. She loved turtles, going to Wendover, and having family barbeques. She was there for anyone who needed her and always gave and kept on going. Her smile was big and bright along with a sense of humor that filled a room with love and laughter.

Survived by her husband, five children, nine grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by her parents.

A special thanks to the hospice nurses at CNS, Janeal, Shari, and Kandi for taking such great care of her.

We love you so much Nana, you will be greatly missed and in our hearts forever.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, October 9, 2004 at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West 2700 South, where friends may call Saturday 1-2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family is accepting donations.
