Mrs. Sarah Tuffey Beck died at the State Hospital, Ogdensburg, January 15, after an illness of about two weeks of pneumonia. She was born at Highmarket 51 years ago the daughter of Morgan and Bridget Tuffey.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Beck, of Lyonsdale, and six sons and three daughters as follows: Harry, Walter, Martin, Gordon, Donald, Robert, Mary and Margarette, of Lyonsdale, and Mrs. Frederick Anderson, of Utica; also two brothers, William Tuffey, of Port Leyden, and
Anthony Tuffey, of McKeever, and one sister, Mary Tuffey, of Constableville.
The funeral was held Monday morning at 9:30 a. m. at St. John's church, Rev. Father F. M. Kenney officiating; burial at Port Leyden. Lowville Journal and Republican, Thursday, January 31, 1929
