Rawley and Mary Jane had the following children: Joseph Henderson Stallard, Sr.; John William Stallard; Sarah Jane Stallard; David Forester Stallard; Nancy M. Stallard; Elizabeth Frances "Betsey" Stallard; and Lucy C. Stallard.

He died there of unknown causes at the age of 45 years. Evidence that he was a land owner has not been found; it is possible he lived on land owned by his father. He was a man of some means as his children received an education substantial for the times.
