MRS. MARY ASHFORD DIES AT BROKEN BOW
Mrs. Mary Ashford, 87, Broken Bow, died at her home at 11:15 p. m. Tuesday.
Born in Missouri April 1, 1865, she had resided at Hochatown from 1910 to 1938, moving from Arkansas. In 1938, she moved to Broken Bow. She was a member of the Baptist church.
Funeral arrangements are under direction of Coffey funeral home.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. John Bethel, Broken Bow, Mrs. Myrtle Coplin and Mrs. Albert Batson, both of Yakima, Wash., and Mrs. Emmett Cannon, Grand Prairie, Tex.; three sons, Alford Ashford, Texarkana; Buster Ashford, Oklahoma City, and Gib Ashford, Cortez, Colo.; one sister, Mrs. Bud Garmon, Idabel; one brother, Sam Dunnigan, Gillham, Ark.; 17 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.

FUNERAL SERVICES HELD THURSDAY FOR MRS. MARY ASHFORD
Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. Thursday at the Assembly of God church for Mrs. Mary Ashford, 87, who died Tuesday at her home here.
Mrs. Ashford was born in Missouri but moved to McCurtain county in 1910. She lived at hochatown until 1938.
Surviving are three sons, Alford of Texarkana, Buster of Oklahoma City and Gib of Cortez, Colo.; four daughters, Mrs. John Bethel, Broken Bow, Mrs. Emmett Carmon (sic), Grand Prairie, Texas, Mrs. Myrtle Coplin and Mrs. Albert Bascon of Yakima, Wash.; a sister, Mrs. Bud Garmon, Idabel; and a brother, Sam Dunningan, Gillham, Ark.
