Chris Bunn fit more love and life into his 41 years than we ever thought was possible. Growing up in Zebulon, N.C., Chris excelled at basketball, baseball, and football. He went on to play football and baseball for Virginia Military Institute. In 1992, Chris married the love of his life, Dabney, and they moved to Knightdale to start a family. He was successful as a financial advisor for Merrill Lynch. He was also an active member of his church, the Exchange Club, and the Boy Scouts of America, always putting the needs of others before himself. As a caring and devoted family man, he was deeply involved in all the activities of his three young children, McCall, Carter and Jax. He was proud of all their accomplishments and, along with Dabney, they were the center of his life.

Chris was known for his profound faith, his genuine love for people, and his remarkably positive approach to life. While he did not win his courageous battle with cancer, he was the champion of touching people's lives. We honor him as he taught us – by giving hope and help to others, sharing Continuous Blessings.
