Dale M. Alderson
DELPHOS — Dale M. Alderson, 75, Delphos, died Friday, Feb. 18, 1994, at the Asbury-Salina Regional Medical Center. Mr. Alderson was born May 9, 1918, at Wells and was a resident of Delphos since December 1993, moving from Glasco. He was a former resident of Concordia. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a truck driver for Boogaarts, Concordia, retiring in 1981. He was a member of the St. Paul's Catholic Church, Delphos.
He was preceded in death by a son, Dale Gene, and a grandson.
Survivors include his wife, Rose Mary of the home; three sons, Paul of Salina, ., and Dana of McPherson; three daughters, Barbara McSwain and DeAnna Keirn, both of Delphos, and Donna Stratton of Minneapolis; a brother, Marvin P. of Delphos; a sister, Clema Copple of Delphos; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the St. Paul's Catholic Church, Delphos, Monsignor James Hake officiating. Burial will be in St. Concordia Cemetery, Concordia. A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the church.
Visitation will be until 9 p.m. today and from 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Shields Funeral Home, 405 Argyle, Minneapolis 67467.
