This memorial was created by Zoe. I have updated it to reflect what I know to be true. Elverda had been living in California in the 1930 and 1940 census, but died in Texas. She is buried in Goodrich, TX. This information supplied by her nephew, Jerry. The stone is actually on her father's grave. I spoke with the sexton at the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Goodrich and she was unable to confirm that burial. (8/2023)
