Arthur S. Bartleson, 87, of 2026 Miller Stroudsburg died Saturday in the General Hospital of Monroe County. He is survived by his widow, Lulu Bartleson, at home. Born in LaAnna, he was the son of the late Jobe and Adeline Rohrbacker.
He had resided in Stroudsburg since 1917 and was employed by the A.B. Store for 35 years until his retirement 10 years ago. Bartleson was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Stroudsburg. He was past commander of St. John's Commandery 186 to which he belonged for over 50 years.
Survivors in addition to his widow is a daughter. Mrs. Frances Chester, Edison. N.J.; a granddaughter, and one great grandchild.
