Mrs. Armina Ludwig, 85, resident of Amherst area all her life, died yesterday at 8 p.m. at her home on Middle Ridge Road, RD1, Amherst, after an illness of a year.
Mrs. Ludwig was born in Black River Township. She was a member of Old Stone United Methodist Church, Rebecca Circle, Truth Seekers, Amherst Study Club and Amherst Garden Club.
Surviving are her husband John, to whom she was married 68 years; a son, Donald of Bloomington, Ind; three grandchildren; and a brother, Robert Baumhardt of Amherst.
She was preceded in death by a son, Neal, and seven brothers and sisters.
Friends will be received at the Garland Funeral Home, Amherst, tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
The funeral service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Robert W. Sutherland will officiate. Burial will be in Crownhill Cemetery, Amherst.
