Lifelong Resident Of Sutter Succumbs
Leroy Summy, 79 year old life long Sutter County resident, died last night in a local hospital following a short illness. Summy was born near Meridian and had been a rancher and butcher as well as an employee of the Sutter County Road Department. Survivors include his wife, Amy of Sutter; a son Errol of Portola; three stepsons, Arnold Brown of Oroville, Hanlon Brown of Yuba City and Laverne Brown of Orinda and two sisters, Mrs. Fred Betty of Sutter and Mrs, Effie Lytken of Los Angeles. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 10 am in Ullrey Memorial chapel, Yuba City. Interment will be in the Sutter cemetery.
