He was born in Marion, the son of Callie Jones. She survives. He graduated from Marion High School in 1977. He was divorced.
Mr. Harbert worked at the Marion VA Medical Center for 22 years with lots of friends and co-workers. He enjoyed fishing and talking on his CB. He liked electronics and loved people. He was very friendly and a very caring person.

Also surviving are a sister, Marcia A. Harbert; stepchildren, Donnie, Shawn, Latish and Michele; several stepgrandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and an aunt.

Services are at 11 a.m. Saturday in Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, with Elder Oscar Perry officiating. Burial is in Estates of Serenity cemetery.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. until services Saturday at the funeral home.
