Marilyn Gail Oyler Hatch 1936 ~ 2005 On Sunday, June 5, 2005, at the age of 68, our dear mom passed away with her children by her side at Lakeview Hospital after struggling nine months with colon cancer. Mom was born November 15, 1936, in Loa, Utah. She was the second of three children born to Wilma and Melvin Oyler. She graduated from Wayne High School just after she married Orville C. Hatch of Koosharem, Utah, on June 1, 1954, in the Manti LDS Temple. Together, they raised three children, Teresa Ann, Kerry Duane, and Jolene. Mom was a dedicated caretaker to her mother. She loved her children and grandchildren and looked forward to spending time with family for the holidays. She was a true collector and lived to go "hunting" for treasures. She was a beautiful embroiderer and enjoyed quilting. She loved to work in her garden, travel and go camping. Her tender caring heart will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. "Gail" was a member of the LDS Church, where she served as the first counselor in the Relief Society. She is a Daughter of the Utah Pioneers and enjoyed visiting teaching with her dear friend Margareta. Mother had a beautiful heart with limitless love for sharing, with a gift of warm understanding and caring. Her heart was generous and she found true joy in giving. She sensed the needs of people around her and only saw goodness in others. In our eyes she was the sweetest and best of all mothers. Survived by her brother Neldon (Vilda) Oyler; sister, Ina (Benny) Hickman; daughter, Teresa (David) Love; son, Kerry (Jolene) Hatch; daughter, Jolene (Michael) Sorenson; grandchildren, Elisa, Erin, Callie, Brayden, and Preston; great-grandchildren, Elisa, Michael, Kiros, Kaia, and Aryanna. Preceded in death by her husband, Orville and her parents. Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 9, 2005 at 11 a.m. at the Kaysville City Cemetery, 500 E. Crestwood Road. Funeral directors, Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main. e-mail condolences to the family at [email protected]
