He was a resident of Center Point for 65 years and was one of the beloved men in that section of the county. He was a retired farmer and one of the substantial citizens of the town and county.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs Mary Mills of Center Point; one brother, Royce Mills of San Antonio; two grandchildren; one brother, John Mills of Aransas Pass; and three sisters, Mrs J.D. Witt, Center Point, Mrs Allen Isabel, Rockport, and Mrs Minnie Watts of Pasadena.
Pallbearers were J.M. Muleahy, Frank Nelson, Herman Burney, Clinton Burney, Sam Brown and Sid McElroy.
