Frank Mayden, 72, died Friday at Cox Medical Center from burns suffered Tuesday at the Grand Acres Nursing Home, 2401 West Grant.
Mr. Mayden, a resident of Springfield for 37 years, was a retired employ of the Springfield Concrete Co. and was a member of the Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Lorene, and a sister, Mrs. Mildred Hopper, of Chicago.
Funeral services were Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Adams Chapel in Ozark with the Rev. Donald Starnes officiating. Burial was be in the Sparta Cemetery.
