After Delbert retired they traveled extensively through the USA and purchased a mobile home in Lake Placid, Florida where they spent 3 months each winter and visited with her step-daughter Jeaneen (George) Hess, step-grandson Michael (Shelly) Hollingshead and step-great grandchildren Patrick, Corey and Casey Joyce all of Marco Island, Florida.
She doted on her son Donald who was the light of her life.
The last few years of her life she battled cancer and passed away in Hickory Hills with her loving husband and son by her side.
