Funeral services for Mrs. Samuel D. Fonda will take place Saturday afternoon at her home in Loudon road and the Bought Reformed church, Colonie. The Rev. Henry Hamlin of the Watervliet Reformed church will officiate. Burial will be in the Union cemetery. Mrs. Fonda was born at Clifton Park, Saratoga county, 89 years ago, and had lived in Colonie for 65 years. She was one of the original members of the Boght Reformed church and actively interested in the various societies of the church for many years. She is survived by two sons, Charles E. and Arthur L. Fonda, of Cohoes. Times-Union, Albany NY, Thursday, April 16, 1936.
