GUS MALONEY
CONCORDIA — The funeral for Gus Maloney, 88, Concordia, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia, the Rev. Loren Werth officiating. Burial will be in St. Concordia Cemetery.
Mr. Maloney died Sunday at the Phillips County Hospital, Phillipsburg. He was born Sept. 19, 1891, at Paola. He was a retired automobile salesman, a member of the Catholic Church, a veteran of World War I and a member of the Concordia Elks Lodge.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Marian Kennedy, Truth or Consequences, N.M., five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
His wife, Marie, died in 1950.
The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Chapel, Concordia, where friends may call beginning Tuesday morning.
