He was employed at Elliot's Metal Works and a member of Long Branch Baptist Church.

Surviving are brothers, Ronnie, Haskel, Ricky, Odell, Joseph, John "Mike" Beeks, all of Greenville; and sister, Lorene "Cookie" Beeks of Greenville.

Visitation: 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at S.C. Franks Chapel of Remembrance with services at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. The family is at 32 Plainfield Circle.
