Joe A. Martin CHAPEL HILL. Tenn.-Services for Joe Alvin Marlin, 52, of Chapel Hill, will be at 3:30 p.m. today at the Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Sheffield Family Cemetery. Marlin died Friday in Bedford County General Hospital in Shelbyville after a long illness. He was an employee of Duran-go Boot Co. and a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Edith Elmore Marlin; two sons, Bobby R. and Jimmy W. Marlin, both of Chapel Hill; his parents, Powell and Irene Marin, Chapel Hill; and four grandchildren.
