Otto werved in the Korean War and in Vietnam. He was stationed at Malmstrom in 1964 and retired here in 1967. After retiring, he worked for Sears; and in 1979 he and his daughter became co-owners of Dahl's College of Beauty.
He was a member of the National Cosmetology Assn; a member and elder of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife; 2 daughters; 1 son; 2 sisters, Erma Cocke of Long Beach, CA and Barbara Bryan of Post Falls, ID; a brother, Elmer Witt of Wichita, KS; 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
