Charles Samuel Leach, 80, formerly of Waynesboro, but who had resided in Florida for 22 years, died in a Winter Haven hospital Friday, Feb. 22. A son of the late Robert and Mary Ann Jones Leach, he was born in Highland County Feb. 14, 1883. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mary Frances Ford, of Port Republic; two sons, Robert Ervine and Samuel Ray Leach, both of Waynesboro & two grandsons. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Feb. 26 at 1:30 p.m. from Headwaters Presbyterian Church by the Rev. W.R. Goodman. Burial was in Headwaters Cemetery with arrangements by Obaugh Funeral Home.
