Annie Frances "Ann" Meek, 85, of Cameron, died Wednesday, August 15, 2012, in a Temple hospital. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, at Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Marak with Rev. Walter Matus officiating. Burial will follow in the Ss. Cyril & Methodius Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m., Friday, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home.
Ann was born in Buckholts, Texas, to the late Charlie and Frances (Barosh) Kohutek. She married Delma Meek on July 1, 1950. She had worked as a waitress and for Tem-Tex News and Service Merchandise for several years. Ann was a member of K.J.T. and S.P.J.S.T.
Her son, James Ray Meek, preceded her in death in 1988; and her daughter, Doris Jungmann, preceded her in death in 2006.
Survivors include her husband, Delma Meek, of Cameron; grandchildren, John Jungmann and Jeremy Jungmann; sister, Josie Strutz, of Cameron; as well as many other relatives and friends.
