She was born March 12, 1919, in Tippah County to the late William Douglas and Sally Childers Graves. She was co-owner of McGee Jewelry in New Albany. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Sunshine Sunday school class.
Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, at United Funeral Service chapel with the Rev. Malcolm
Pinion and Bro. Edd Brashier officiating. Burial was in Vista Memorial Park.
Survivors include her husband, J. P. McGee of New Albany; a daughter, Carolyn McGee Smith of North Little, Rock, Ark.; a son, Larry W. McGee of Fort Worth, Texas; two sisters, Lillian Rutherford of Ripley and Alta Jernigan of Memphis; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
