Altie was the daughter of Juba Hudson Edwards and Arie Eleanor Ball. She married 1st to Horace Bryant Slimp and 2nd to Leroy T. Cunningham.
Altie is very special to me, even though I never met her. I obtained copies of some of her genealogical work, which she did in the 1940's til the time of her death, and her work enabled me to start my own research and add to hers. Altie was first cousin to my Grandmother, Hannie Perry-Ripley.
