Viscountess Georgiana Orred , Lady Sherbrooke, Artist and Landscape Designer was the daughter of George Orred and Frances Orred (nee Blundell). She married Robert Lowe, 1st Viscount Sherbrooke, son of Reverend Robert Lowe and Ellen Pyndar, on 26 March 1836 at Holy Trinity, Chester, Cheshire.
Viscountess Georgiana and Viscount Robert Lowe were custodians of the National Trust's Bronte House in Sydney from 1843. Lowe completed the construction of the house and its gardens and named it after Lord Nelson, who was known as the Duke of Bronte (a town in Sicily). Georgiana was a skilled watercolour artist, botanist and landscape designer, who designed Bronte House gardens. Georgina's sketches and watercolours provide the earliest images of Bronte House and the surrounding area. Her sketchbook is held at the State Library of New South Wales.
