Her sister Olivia McEwen was the first wife of George Gassaway. She was baptised 17 Oct 1830 in Cornwall, Stormont, Ontario, Trinity Anglican Church. She died, probably in Dayton, Ohio, before 1858 when George Gassaway married the third sister Amarilla McEwen in Dayton, Ohio. Olivia was probably buried in this plot where Agnes and their mother Amrylla were buried, apparently without markers, but no record of Olivia's burial has been found.
As just noted, the sisters' mother Amarilla (Barnhardt) McEwen (born Canada) is also buried here in Dayton's Woodlawn cemetery, while her husband, the sisters' father, Archibald McEwen (born Glasgow, Scotland), is buried in Forest Cemetery in Lucas, Co, Ohio.
